The ordinary annual meeting of BHIKPK, of which format was changed by including scientific sessions and panels on topics falling into the scope of the Board in addition to the ordinary agenda, was held at the ODTÜ Culture Centre in Ankara on 12-14 May 2009.

 

The participation of the General Directors and Senior Executives of Public Entities affiliated to the Board and our colleagues enhanced the dynamism of the sessions. At the end of the sessions, a panel discussion with the topic of “Interoperability” was held. Mr. Kadri Pamukoğlu (PhD) as the Technical Services Director of the General Command of Mapping, Mr. Sedat Bakıcı as the Head of the Geodesy and Photogrammetry Department of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, Prof. Tahsin Yomralıoğlu being a Lecturer of the Karadeniz Technical University, Mr. Hayati Taştan (PhD) as the CBS Manager of Türksat and a representative of the General Directorate of Technical Research and Application were the speakers of the panel discussion, which was chaired by our General Director Mr. Ömür Demirkol (PhD).

An exhibition in which EMİ Harita Bilgi İşlem İnşaat ve Taşımacılık Sanayi Ltd. also participated was held. In addition, during the company presentations, our CBS and Technical Office Manager Mr. Hikmet ATEŞ (PhD) gave a presentation on the CBS projects which have been executed by EMİ.
